Sound Sphere Recordings Has Officially Closed Its Doors.

It has been a good run for us, a small, independent DnB label, for more than 20 years. Being one of the first US labels dedicated strictly to the drum and bass genre, our music has reached people around the world, but now the time has come to close this chapter in the American drum and bass saga. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years. In order to keep our music and history alive and accessible, we are providing high quality, digital downloads of all of our releases for free…to anyone and everyone.

Thanks for the years of good music and thanks for always challenging what American drum and bass could be.

Thanks for doing all of this. I was lucky enough to befriend UFO! at a young age and therefore also made aware of your stuff at a young age. I feel like I was at the party in Dayton Ohio where you dropped Night Stalker for the first time and that tune changed everything for me. I had most, if not all of the Sound Sphere stuff and I'm pretty sure . I have and still play most of it.... Read more

Tracks from E-Sassin, Sound Sphere, and others with this sound are the entire reason I found D&B and are the reason I play and produce this music. Thank you so much for inspiring me to do what I'm doing now.

E-sassin was one of my first introductions to dark dnb back in the day. I mixed firing squad w/ a wu tang acapella on my first mixtape, and that was almost 20 years ago. I still love the tunes from back then, and this shit still gets me so hyped to send it. Thank you for the links to tunes and for all the inspiration over the years. Cheers dude! deadkids
